30-13 since Acuna moved back to the leadoff spot.
Snitker does lots of crazy things and it's obviously not the only reason, but you can't be all about the numbers and simply ignore that.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Team does better when Acuna is in leadoff spot, simple as that. Him getting less AB's isnt a good thing.

We have been playing well. But I would like those 18 or whatever Acuna bombs to be with more me. On base. I guess snit is the greatest manager ever.

What's truly remarkable is how many RBI's Acuna gets from the leadoff spot. It's a testament to how good he is, but also how deep the lineup is.

I guess Acuna in the leadoff spot caused all of our hitters catch fire for like 2-3 weeks

Acuna also caused Riley to go insane from the 5th spot too. Snit is a genius

You really can't make up this kind of stupid haha
But yes, removing a terrible hitter from the lead off slot and replacing him with a great hitter is going to help the offense. It also helps the offense when that bad hitter is removed from the lineup completely and replaced by a kid on a 1.200+ OPS tear.
You know what would help the offense even more? Putting the guy with a .382 OBP and .162 ISO vs RHP in front of the guys slugging ~.500 when facing a RHP rather than behind them. You know, something old-school like getting guys on base in front of the sluggers...complex stuff for sure.

causality is a deep and frequently misunderstood subject...many great statisticians have spent their careers on the topic...Nobel Prize winner Clive Granger for one...there is a concept called Granger causality named after him...to which I am pleased to add a variation to be henceforth known as clv-Snitker-Acuna causality

I have relegated Enscheff to his Lair for today's GDT. Not an official strike but a soft warning.
