    I’ll take that as a compliment :)

Also, let’s beat the Phillies’ ass this week.

Can't really blame them after losing seven straight. What bugs me is we should've had a 7-3 road trip and be 6.5 ahead of Philadelphia.

Relievers aren’t great but asking the pen to cover 3-4 innings every night is tough.

    Aaaand melt down.

Good teams sometimes lose games, even at the end of the game.

anyhow...trying to coax 2 outs from Newk and 4 from Minter was the right strategy considering who was available in the pen

the big fail was going away from the fastball after blowing two by Conforto...

come back on Tuesday and get the fillies

No, I won't. This is it for me, brah. I'm a Mississippian that's eaten twinkies and kfc 3 times a day, every day for 35 years. My BP is normally 180/135, and it's pushing 245/180 right now. Thanks a lot for killing me, minter

Twitter after Braves loses is way more fun than this board. It’s pretty incredible to see people REALLY meltdown.

would have been nice to get an extra inning from Fried but pinch hitting for him with bases loaded and 2 outs was the right move

It's just annoying to see a guy who walks 7 per 9 go out there and walk the key batter. If he can put the ball in the zone against Conforto, we probably win. Minter is hot garbage.

Since recall, 8.1 ip and 7 bb. He still can't throw strikes when you need him too

After tonight, his BB/9 since coming back from AAA is over 7.50. It was 6.48 since coming back before his meltdown tonight

Minter has no idea where the ball is going. He has to go back to AAA and see if he can figure out what's wrong.

Since recall, minter has had 10 appearances. Of the 10, only 2 have been a clean inning. He's the last dude I wanna bring into a mess

I mean not exactly a huge sample size. But again I even clearly questioned why he was brought in. Still he’s too talented to give up on. Yup agree get him back to AAA. I didn’t realize he’d been that bad since he recall... guess I only watched the decent outings

I agree we can't give up on him. And while it's not a big sample size, it's consistent with what he did before his demotion.

I say send him to AAA and tell him he has to show he can hit his spots to get back.
