Has Paraguate surfaced in the second half? I see he is still on the Rome roster and on the 7-day IL, but I thought for sure he would get the Florentino treatment and be in the GCL after the Shewmake and Phillip signings. Any word on what his injury is? He was thrown into a very difficult situation along with Florentino, making a big jump (bigger in Paraguate's case) all the way to full-season ball at age 18 without an extensive resume.

Wondered that about a handful of players - thought they might be aggressive with promotions with some of the college guys drafted last month so they could take their foot off the pedal with those two, Vodnik, Tarnok, De La Cruz, Daysbel Hernandez, etc..
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I think at some point, Shewmake gets moved up to Florida and Philip goes to Rome. That would leave the Danville SS position open for someone. That could be where Paraguate ends up provided he's healthy. I hope they leave all the GCL guys at that level this summer.

Jeremy Walker to Gwinnett. CJ Alexander activated and moved to Florida. I thought Alexander was supposed to miss the whole year for some reason, so that’s great.

I thought Alexander was out for the year too... that's very good news.

Have the Braves drafted more sluggers with pure 1B/DH risk lately or am I just kind of imagining that?

Not sure Alexander falls in that category... with his arm strength, I'd say he still have a shot to be a 3B or an OF before he's relegated to 1B/DH duties. I understand he started out at 1B in 5 games this year, but I don't think that's his sure bet position.

Connor Blair debuting for Danville tonight. No Bryce Ball in the lineup, hopefully on his way to Rome.

Yeah, I think he was only at 1b due to the arm pain that eventually lead to his surgery.

Shewmake just destroying A-Ball. Not a huge fan of moving a recently drafted kid up a level so soon but he is showing reason to believe!

Dean with 2 more steals tonight and got his OBP up over .400.

A nice under the radar big season from someone probably nobody thought of at the start of the year.

Davidson goes 7 inning with 9 k's an NO walks. Just another guy to throw into the mix.

Great K rate, age appropriate for the level and lefthanded.

Shewmake has been impressive so far. If he can stick at SS with his hit tool, he's a good prospect
