Love the fastball location from Anderson in that first clip. If he can do that consistently, he'll be amazing.
The curve in the second video isn't impressive but it looks like more of a get it over breaker so it was wouldn't be impressive.
Hard to say how accurate that 95 reading was, or how much his stuff ticked up in a short outing, but if 95 is legit and he can sustain it that's a lot different than the 90-91 we saw in ST.
I've long since stopped listening to what scouting reports say about a pitcher, or looking at any MiLB stat other than BB rate. Until I see real MLB statcast data on Anderson I will assume his AA numbers are due to him being a good pitcher.

Some Statcast takeaways from the game: https://www.mlb.com/news/futures-gam...ed-by-statcast
"Atlanta's Ian Anderson and Detroit's Matt Manning each topped 7 feet of extension on their four-seam fastballs, which, as you can see, puts them in rarified air:" -- there's a graph in the body of the story that shows you how rare Anderson's extension is compared to big leaguers.
"Others to hit the elite 30 ft/sec mark: Robert's Birmingham teammate Nick Madrigal, who hit 30.1 ft/sec on a fourth-inning groundout; Boston's Jarren Duran, who got up to 30.1 ft/sec on a groundout, and Atlanta prospect Christian Pache, who got up to 30 ft/sec, also on a groundout."

According to this leader board:
http://m.mlb.com/statcast/leaderboard#avg-pitch-velo
Glasnow benefits from an additional 2.8 mph of perceived velocity on his FA due to his 7.6' of extension.
The guys in the 5.2' area suffer a loss of perceived velocity of 2.1-2.3 mph.
Anderson's ~94.5 FA was probably perceived as roughly ~97 mph last night.
Now I'm off to find extension values for everyone...I expect Stroman to be #1 on that list.
Haha. Stroman #1. This joke is almost becoming David Letterman over used. But still funny.
