He said as of now Inciarte is part of deal and Jays want 2 prospects.

Not sure I wanna trade Ender. He's a great 4 OF defensive sub unless injury so bad he can't patrol CF.

well that's one way to solve the Ender problem which isn't really a problem at all

Stroman, Stroman, Strom. Get away. You gotta get away.

Not surprised this is the move since AA is from Toronto. Wonder if Giles is part of the deal.

Inciarte being part of it is weird. Didn't Jays just trade their CF?
    thank you weso1!

Probably being overly negative but personally have no interest in Stroman. If we get a starter I want a lefty for the Dodgers. We don't need Stroman to beat the Cubs or Brewers IMO. If we want a flier on Giles fine, but meh on Stro

Bowman said Waters and Anderson in the discussion. Surely not.

One small fact to add to the mix. Remember that Bum can't be traded to the Braves without his permission. That is spelled permi$$ion. Braves don't need to be backed into a corner.
Also Stroman (and Giles) are under control until 2021.

According to Spotrac Stroman is just controlled through 2020.

Yeah. Bumgardner put most of the perceived contenders on his no trade list which pretty much guarantees he controls where he gets traded to.

    From MLBTR

The Braves and Blue Jays haven’t had any discussions about Marcus Stroman, MLB Network’s Jon Heyman reports (Twitter link). While Stroman would be a fit on at least half the teams in the league, Atlanta stands out as a natural landing spot due to both the Braves’ talented but generally inexperienced rotation, and the connection between Stroman and Braves GM Alex Anthopoulos (who had the same job in Toronto from 2009-15). While a lack of talks to this point doesn’t mean that Stroman couldn’t eventually become a Braves target, Atlanta has been linked to other pitchers such as Madison Bumgarner or Zack Wheeler, and could simply prefer one of those players (or another arm altogether) to Stroman.

He immediately comes in and is the big, swinging dick in the rotation.

I read your post right after I read that Stroman is 5-foot-7. There's quite a visual there.

If it happens, I’m immediately going to buy a number 6 Stroman Braves jersey. I’m sure they’ll sell quick.
