    Wilson getting shelled early.
The FO that needlessly promoted him early knew what they were doing and are paid to do this. We aren't, so we can't know more than them. Correction....they used to be paid to do this..

I also don't see the reasoning behind signing DK over CK, and I'm going to assume the Braves can only afford one of them. Like Bumgarner, DK would be an improvement in the rotation, but it seems like CK would be a bigger improvement in the BP.

Wilson got all the runs he wanted to give up out of the way tonight. So he can shine next game.

Not quite sure 0-13 quite represents a "slump" for Shewmake - cooling off, sure. Very few players go through a season without having a 3 game stretch without a hit.

Quite a game for Ajax. If we get Stroman, , he may need Ajax to clean him up if he gets into something he can't shake.

On the plus side, great job of limiting the damage if only 9 runs scored off 78 hits.

Getting Gausman and/or Folty back to what we expect from them could be equivalent to adding anyone not named Thor.

The Braves also need Inciarte to get back to his 3 win ways sooner rather than later.
I think he (Teheran) finishes with a FIP ~3.3. -CrazyTrain 3/25/2019

Gausman had a bad walk ratio for us -CrazyTrain 11/20/2018
    BB/9 with Braves: 2.72

Fried, Newk and a couple other guys for Bumgarner and give him a pay day for 6ish years -CrazyTrain 10/15/18

I have an odd (perhaps very odd) perspective on Alex Jackson. Provided he proves he can hit big-league pitching (debatable at this point), would it make sense for the Braves to give him at least some reps in the OF? I have no idea what his OF defense looked like in the low minors, but with the 26th man coming next season, if Jackson could hit some, he might be a decent bench guy who could be the 3rd C and back-up as a RHH cOF.

Of course, my odd perspective is predicated on Jackson's ability to hit and adequately play a cOF. By that logic, I would have been a much better high school basketball player (for the record, I was terrible) if I would have been 6-foot-8.
