Mejia has a career .602 OPS and 3 homers this year, but the ball “jumps off his bat” according to Chip.

I’ve been saying this for weeks.
He and JD been our best hitters for over a month and why we had him in the 8 hole is beyond stupid considering at worst he’s our 5th or 6th best hitter.I know it’s random but his average with runners on has been one of the best all season as well.

TBF, Mejia was (is?) highly thought of bat first catcher. Results notwithstanding.

I loved Quantrill coming out of the draft but he’s never really maintained much prospect intrigue. Stuff looks pretty good so far.

Soroka has had two runners on each inning, but still is under 30 pitches through 2.

I've been thinking Albies should have been moved up for the base-running aspects in addition to his improved hitting.

    OK, enough with pitchers batting

Dinosaurs need to die off, and the DH needs to be in the NL.

Anyone slow-minded enough to be amazed by the "strategy" the pitcher batting creates will be equally entertained watching their own toenails grow.
