So I'm guessing Duvall gets your other OF spot as our lefty masher?

    Reserve players:

    Catcher
    Culberson
    Camargo
    Muk/Joyce
    Duvall

Wouldn't that be Duvall? I know it's a SSS, but he has crushed LHP this year.

Duvall is an obvious starter against lefties.

Based on what I just read, upstairs plans on Nick Markakis being in there and batting 5th even against LHP so we can shoot down any ideas of him being platooned. It also doesn't really even sound like him being in LF is permanent.

So, we already know the top 5 that will be starting in the playoffs:

    Acuna
    Albies
    Freeman
    Donaldson
    Markakis

That's locked in with the key thrown away.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

I don't know who would have been on the market, but it is the glaring weakness on the bench right now.

Yup, that's one. The Braves need 2 RHH OFers to stick out there with Acuna.

Hopefully one of Riley, Camargo or Culberson emerge. Most likely Markakis will just play vs LHP because he's an "everyday player" and continue to suck against them.

Just a reminder, all of the Cardinals starting pitchers are righties. So that plays into our strengths. But it also makes this decision equally important.

Teams can switch out players prior to each series. Cards seem to only have 1 lefty in the pen who has dominated lefties this year. If we play them it could be a situation to load up lefties for that round.

Snit indicated the Mets series is more realistic for Ender's return.

    That does not seem promising

With Joyce raking against righties and Neck back this is less of a concern right now than when he went down.

Yeah. I would rather Ender be 95% healthy for LAD than 85-90% for Cards.

We can afford to not have him be fully fit for Cards. But I would like him in outfield against the Dodgers should we make it that far.

could open up a spot for Ortega as our lefty hitting bench bat against the Cards...or do we plug in a rusty Ender into that role
