Perfect strike three pitches to Donaldson and McCann but he had to throw 35 pitches. Reminds me of last night when Soroka had to wait an eternity between mowing down the first three batters in the top of the first and then trying to regain his crispness in the top of the second. When you wait that long, it'd be nice to have a huge inning of more than a run or two.
Hopefully, Gausman isn't affected by the layoff.
