GM surely should get better players, but he did get them a former MVP in his prime and one of the best catchers in the league. Both have underwhelmed. He just doesn’t seem to get the most out of his players.

Maybe he’s a good manager and his coaches suck? Either way, something needs to change there.

Yeah, he locked up a good-great player to a stupid contract and sold what little prospect capital they had for a catcher. He didn’t do anything else about the rest of the team.
