Dont mind trading him because we could need the 40 man roster space and he needs a lot more development time than we have to offer.
If he showed the stuff he has now in college there is no way he is a high first round pick.

That's fantastic since he maxed out Luke Ray today with a quick turnaround (12 pm game tomorrow)

I think it speaks more to allard’s lack of value and the Braves lack of belief in him.

I fell asleep with braves up 9-0 and woke up to braves having acquired one of my favored targets for a second or third pen piece, cool.

He was a high first round pick. And he’s not going to learn velocity. His low 90s fastball is never going to cut it

So I know there’s some confusion about if Martin is a FA at the end of the year. Looking at his stats though this is only his 4th year on a mlb roster. He has to have 6 at the end of a season to be FA eligible right?

No this has been covered in great detail already and put to rest. He has a unique contract due to him being in Japan. He is a rental. Confirmed

In his contract when he came back from Japan. He's gotta be made a FA.

That being said, there's nothing keeping us from re-signing him if he does well.

So if he signed his next contract as a standard 1 year deal then he would be arb eligible right?
