    By the way, we lucked out next series and don't have to face Castillo, the Reds best pitcher. Although now we may have to face Bauer.

    DBacks held onto Ray, so Nats will still have to face him in their upcoming series. They were not scheduled to face Greinke.

    Personally, I'd also argue we'd lost this series had Markakis stayed healthy. Duvall was key to winning this series, esp. game two. He gave us a shot in game one too but managing was bad. Left DK in too long on a day he had struggled but kept them at 2, etc. The loss of Markakis might help us the second half despite it testing our depth.
