Dansby Swanson is eligible to come off the 10-day injured list Saturday, but Braves manager Brian Snitker suggested Friday that the shortstop’s return to action may be delayed until next week.
Swanson is on the IL with an injured right heel. “He ran (Friday), still feels it a little bit, so it’s not as good as I had hoped for tomorrow or the weekend,” Snitker said. “We’re not going to push it. So it’ll be kind of a day-to-day thing.”Johan Camargo continues to play shortstop in Swanson’s absence.
