This ump sucks.
The last series, you could not complain much, they were consistent. They were borderline but they gave each side the benefit of doubt.

Aight, look. I don't believe this. I think it's BS. But you asked, and it was reported that originally the Blue Jays had set a policy of completely refusing to deal with the Braves ever as long as AA was here, but that towards the deadline they had softened on it some, deciding they would deal with the Braves but just demand a higher return from them than other teams.
If true, it's truly a case of "cutting off your nose to spite your face" or whatever the expression is. The other thing is that wasn't Stroman traded a couple of days prior to the deadline so it casts some doubt on the account of them softening as the deadline approached.
Which, I don't know, at one point Suspenders had a list of like 3 agents who he refused to deal with under any circumstances (I agreed with him on one of them, FWIW), so maybe there's just more pettiness than I think.
This ump has a super wide zone tonight. That ball into Anderson called a strike was atrocious.
Julio was just teasing us with his under 40 pitches through 3.
Castro certainly not out by much at second base on the force play that ended the bottom of the fourth. I was surprised Mattingly didn't at least take a look at it.

I think my lasting memory of Braves’ baseball in the 10’s will be of Julio Teheran stranding runners on 1st and 2nd to end the inning.
Think we caught a break
Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
Lol, Flowers. Don’t bother sliding.
Flowers tagging was like a slow motion car crash. Pure dread.
Honestly, I think if Flow slides, he’s out. Can’t imagine those catcher’s knees allow him to slide with any agility.
Ok Ronnie I see you.

*Maybe Jeff was just speculating?
Acuna now working on 40/40. I agree with Chip that the very questionable balk call rattled Smith.
