Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Would be nice to see Julio go 8 innings tonight.
I wouldnt say Acuna has a short swing.
Julio is pitching a gem tonight. Thru 5 he's at 70 pitches, with 5 Ks, 0 BBs, and 4 hits.

Nah. It was a BS call, he got pissed, he had a right to. Then the little bitch that us that ump got mad and set up closer to him, staring intently, clearly looking for an oppo to call him for another one as punishment. That's trash umping at it's worst.
I'll gladly take the results this time, though.
Would be nice if Chen doesn’t shut us down for once.
Um kind of, he will hit it out to right center at times. But he was so quick when he swings, Acuna would adjust, but the pitchers then did not throw 95 to 100 constantly. If he did not get hurt, he would have out hit Dale Murphy and hit more homers. He had bone issues in his wrist and arms, if they go, he was toast.
But he was a pleasure to watch. He hit 23 homers in like half or so in the season, as a rookie. He was patient just like Acuna. I think Acuna is looking at his K's and most of them looking, he is not messing around on the first pitch.
Horner was really good, but he had to compete against Mike Schmidt, you will lose that battle. Another not tall like Glaus or Chipper or big person and had much power. Actually if you think about it Horner was like Schmidt in how they approach for hitting.

Lol ... I guess it’s the C league umpires tonight.
Dreadful across the board.
Acuna k's looking again.
He needs to not look for something and just hit the darn ball.
Schmidt, Murphy or Horner would have did something, make an out but they would not take close pitches.
Murphy was a pull hitter at first, but when he adjusted, most of his home runs were left center to right field, mainly right field.

Holy crap... I didn't realize Acuna, Freeman, and Albies were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively in the NL in hits.
