All we need is three more grand slams before Snit will be comfortable letting Weigel pitch.

Chen now has a 3.20 career ERA against the Braves and the majority of that obviously with the Marlins.

Looks like Martin for the 8th, pending a good 8th, i'm not sure who in the 9th. Greene hasnt thrown since Tuesday.

Snit's hunting for blown saves, so this lead is too big for Greene to come in straight off. Melancon gives up two to create a save situation, Greene gives up three to lose the lead?

Allard cruised through the 4th. Obviously just one start but we may end up regreting trading him.

With the stuff you think would not lose nearly 300 games.

He had great stuff for that era, but if he pitches like he did then now, they would feast off of him.
What are you smoking tonight? When adjusted, Nolan Ryan holds the record for fastest pitch at 108 MPH. He regularly was clocked around the 100 MPH throughout his career. Hell, he tore a ligament in his arm before his last pitch and the very next pitch he still threw it 98 MPH.

    Your facts are wrong.

Again, nor a lack of velo, a lack of control. The days he had control, he threw those eight (or whatever it was) no-hitters. The other days, 14 strikeouts, 6 walks, and 4 wild pitches, flip a coin on the win/loss.

Martin has been less than impressive so far.

I don't smoke or drink and even our board owner knows that.

Why if someone can pitch that hard and lose 292 games, only win barely over 300 games pitching 27 years.

Please, what are you smoking or drinking?

It’s pretty unreal how bad this bullpen is, even against non-hitters, or the entire marlins team.

Jesus ****ing Christ. Our bullpen may be worse post-deadline than before it.

Sorry and maybe it's true, but I can't help but be skeptical that Allard picked up a steady five mph on his FB since we saw him pitch for us.

I already regret losing a Top 20 prospect in all of baseball.

This is a good post, but it was so random. Look at his history, only 12 or 13 wins for a pitcher with his talent and took 27 years to get 300 wins.

If Julio Franco was allowed to play in his 60's he would get 3000 hits.
