If that ends up being the case and we get Neck back our lineup should be a monster come playoff time.

Much needed win after last night, still cant believe that happened but i guess over 162, you'll have a couple WTF games along the way.

Soto injured his leg late in their win over the Mets. Not sure how serious yet.

we've had games like that before, just against good teams and not the marlins who we owned coming in. But we also still won most of those games picking up snit as such games tend to be his worst. We obviously didn't do that yesterday though as we lost the next inning instead of winning as usual.

Only losing two of 17 games is pretty remarkable. Making up seven games in seven weeks is nothing for a hot team. Their problem is that they've got to deal with a number of other teams both in the division and for the wild card.

Since the ASG, they've certainly played a lot better than we have. When everyone brings up their weak schedule, I'd remind them that we just split with a team that NY swept in their previous series. Remember that the Mets always play us tough even when they suck so, yeah, I've got my eye on them.

Huge nine-game home stretch coming up. Going at least 5-4 would be huge.

I'm not even sure what Snit could even do last night. Like no one could get outs, he was in an impossible situation. Everyone he brought in couldnt get outs.

    Walks are very scary.

Shows that more seasoned players at AAA are not tsking the bait and swinging at balls for strikeouts.

i understand taking them serious, it is just a fact we will have to beat them ourselves anyway as we have three series left with them.

He still has 11 Ks in 9 AAA innings. I have a feeling he's going to get a shot in the majors by the end of the season.

Give our guys a lot of credit. Most of the time when you get your guts ripped out like we did last night, it's amazingly difficult to snap out of the funk that ensues.

We protected a one run lead for nine outs today when we couldn't protect a four run lead for two outs yesterday. Progress!?

No doubt and I expect those to be very hard fought games.

His biggest mistake was using Jackson and Greene with runners on, they have the worst strand rate on the team. Greene has just sucked period though and is new so I don't blame snit as much there (even if Greene's style should tell you not to do it). But bringing in Jackson after Swarzak led to another run scoring in the 8th. He had did similar with Jackson in another game recently and both runners on belonging to our starter scored but Jackson was charged with nothing. Jackson is just not someone you bring in with runners on, not Greene either given his style. They both need clean innings unless you have a big lead and it doesn't matter as much.

We've won a bunch of close games against them this season.

Teheran had led us to multiple 1-0 wins against them.

Dont think so. AA will try to avoid using up a 40 man spot on him. Plus Wilson has been pitching better than him.
