Smith hitting Blevins is no surprise, him not walking him was.

Yeah, but still no 'ships... I'd take AL champ over them again this season.

Without Ender and no one worthwhile to replace him, we’re going to have less and less of a lead.

Sure, the Dodgers are good, but no one gets any credit from me for anything they do against our bullpen.

They’re us 20 years ago. Except they still don’t have a World Series 8 years in and only 2 pennants to show for it.

Yeah, but still if Newk didn’t walk the #9 hitter...it’s probably still a ballgame.

I'm not sure what the braves can do now to fix the lineup. This team is looking like the nats did early with all the injuries.

This is their best shot yet. They are above everyone in the NL and you can really say that probably the only ones with a chance in the AL is the Astros and Yankees

I agree that not winning in postseason hurts that legacy. But the Braves had an incredible run especially from 91 to early 2000s.

Final Nats 2-1 over Brewers Down to 4.5 games ahead

Mets down 2-1 to Royals in 6th scores stand, 9 games back
Phiiiies up 8-3 on Padres in 8th scores stand 7 GB
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......

And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

I could see the Yankees going off tracks a bit when they get players healthy; I doubt everyone with a track record comes in firing on all cylinders. Astros have too much starting pitching for anyone else, IMO.

The real sad thing is that the Braves know they’ve lost this game.

Yankees starting pitching is a serious concern for them.

Astros and Dodgers starting pitching are tremendous

After this series our schedule does lighten up a bit. Hopefully we can build our lead back up a bit during that time frame.
    thank you weso1!
