that’s not how i remember it.
i remember you complaining last season in just about every thread that Soto was the stud Acuña was supposed to be.
of course that quieted when Acuña started getting hot and overtook Soto. it was also pointed out by many that Acuña is the better overall player.
you’re also now catching Acuña on a cold streak (he was at 5.1 WAR not that long ago) and Soto on a hot streak.
so short answer: no one. no one mocked you for comparing them. you were mocked, however, for the level of whining we saw when Soto was hot and Acuña was cold.

Kinda like you brought this up when Soto had his cold streak to begin the year, eh?

    ETA... they're pretty much equal.

    Career fWAR:
    Acuna (248 games) - 8.5 (.034 per game)
    Soto (240 games) - 8.3 (.035 per game)

O'Day has 6 K's now in 4 scoreless innings on his rehab. He had 2 more K's today in one scoreless inning for the G-Braves.

Culberson doesn’t “need” anything other than being used as the player he actually is: a versatile bench player that isn’t very good offensively. He’s basically Hech with less SS ability and more OF ability.
Do you think it’s possible Culberson doesn’t make the postseason roster then?

lol you bent the truth to make yourself feel like a victim and right. but that’s not what happened. you complained incessantly. you don’t remember that?
Acuña is still the better overall player. i’m not sure what your point is. i’ll take acuña long-term. you can take soto. ok.

Possible. I think we will take only one of Culberson, Hech and Camargo.

We will likely go to a 12 man staff and therefore have room for an extra bat. My guess is the playoff bench looks like this:

    1) Cervelli
    2) Flowers
    3) Hamilton
    4) Joyce
    5) one of Culberson, Hech, Camargo

This assumes Muk and Ender return and are on the post-season roster. I think we go with 3 catchers to allow us to pinch run with Hamilton more aggressively. It would also allow us to use the catchers as pinch hitters.

Joyce should be starting vs righties. Also, if we beat our first round opponent then against the Dodgers lefties we cannot go with Muk and Ender and expect to win, healthy or not. We'll need someone like Duvall for Muk/Joyce against Ryu for example.

For his career Ryu has given up an OPS of .714 against lefties and .666 against righties.

This year his splits are conventional. But the larger sample is a better predictor of future performance for splits. He is a reverse splits pitcher. Partly because of his changeup and ability to pitch down and away against righties. He has a classic profile for a reverse splits pitcher. His best pitch is his change. You negate that with lefty hitters. Hopefully, the Braves will figure that out.

Ender is jogging and Muk has started playing catch. Still a couple weeks away. They will probably be able to play the last 5-10 games of the season. Cutting it close as far as fully regaining game sharpness.

You said the same last time but it was our righties that hit him best and that has been a trend against him lately in his struggles.
