I think it's perfectly ok to dislike a player on esthetic grounds. But that should be set aside when analyzing whether the front office should try to bring him back and on what terms.

Within reason. If it's a Yunel Escobar, Jeff Kent, Roger Clemens, Bret Myers level problem, I could see it being a factor. I wouldn't put Donaldson at that level.

I didn't remember the kid's name, but I sure remembered that she was 15 and he was nearly 40. He's pretty much the one and only modern HoF-calibre guy I'd refuse to vote for on character grounds if I had a vote.
