Thankfully we don't have to watch Swarzak throw any more tonight and don't have to suffer thru another Culberson AB or watch Riley exhibit a total lack of hitting ability.

But the best part, is because the game was on Big Fox, won't have to watch Cone Head try to explain the game in after game conference.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......

And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

MN vs Phiiiies is 2. They'll be eliminated before we see them again(I hope).

Pretty good besides the death blow part.
I know we are pretty hard on Snit and he’s done a great job getting the team ready to play but if this is a preview of his playoff managing style we are in a world of trouble.
Oh well, glad we got the split.

Games like this really don’t bother me - we had the split secured, meaningless game- see what we had from some folks - no big deal either way. Sure I wanted to win, but bigger picture is trying to figure out postseason rosters .... that said, I agree with above poster we should have rested Freddie and Josh

If we secure homefield advantage in the first round. Should we throw away the last three games against the Mets? Nats vs Mets and the winner may give a hard time to the Dodgers.

I think we won't need to actually actively throw games. They'll be mentally checked out even if the players play. I think the Mets probably take 2 of 3 in that series.

Right now I'd probably guess 4-2 in the next two series, then 4-4 in the last 8. I was saying 100-62 but I'm less sure now until the team shows they won't be checked out on the field after clinching.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
