I lingered long and indecisively on the keyboard before going with Folty. One consideration is venerable precedence. I have done a prior gdt (which the team won) using Folty rather than Foltyńewicz. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to adherence to precedence. Why tinker with success.Originally Posted by jpx7

I don't mean to be boastful, but in the successful gdt (9.9.19) using Folty as opposed to Foltyńewicz, the following was posted by our leaderless feeler:

None of the Braves have ever faced Beede. He's 5-9 on season with a 5.02 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, 101 Ks in 109 IP. Has won his last 2 outings beating the Dodgers and Fish giving up 0 ERs in 11.1 IP(5 vs Dodgers, 6.1 vs Fish). Gave up 4 hits to Dodgers and 3 to Fish.

Folty looking good. Our rotation is shaping up pretty nice for the playoffs.
If Folty finishes this game strong, i just dont see how he isnt in the playoff rotation. He's been arguably our best starter since hes came back, him or DK.
Agreed. Folty has the lowest xWOBA since he's come back among Braves starters. Not at last years level but he's been good.
