    Acuna out until the NLDS

No 40/40, bummer, but he'll get some rest before the NLDS now. Wish they'd shutdown Freeman until then too.

I disagree for the simple reason of timing. I do not love the idea of guys trying to get it back, if it has gotten rusty, in games that count for at least 20% of the series.

Would have been nice if we hadn’t run our players into the ground

Snit has to start resting these guys. I’m really surprised JD made it all season. AA is gonna have to have a talk this offseason.

If we’re out in the NLDS again, AA will have that talk. Otherwise, he’s going to keep letting Snitker be “a player’s manager,” just like he has until this point.

If we don’t make it out of the NLDS I’d have to imagine the FO would have to consider letting Snit go.

The rednecks all around Braves Country who believe he's the second coming of Bobby would not like that.

Pure stupidity with the division in hand for weeks not to rest these guys regularly. Stupid not to rest them regularly all season and take advantage of the deep roster AA gave him.

Snit may have just lost the NLDS before it even started if these guys don't bounce back immediately.

Run through walls for him indeed...and he sends them right at those walls like a moron.

The Braves are at the point where they are legit contenders for championships.

Failing to have players ready for the postseason, and getting outmaneuvered in playoff games is precisely why a manager for a contending team should be removed.

Bobby may have had brain farts in the postseason, but at least he understood how to regularly rest regulars...even if the Sunday lineups were infuriating.

I’m just telling you, based off AA’s words and modus operandi up until this point, he’s going to be hands off with Snitker until the errors he’s making start costing the Braves games. And I respect that he wants to let the manager do his job, but not preemptively addressing the issues before they blow up probably isn’t the best way to do things.

I think Snit will learn from this. My guess he will also be given some firmer guidance next season.

We heard that same BS after last year.

We have our best chance to win a World Series than we’ve had in a LONG time. We haven’t won a playoff series in nearly two decades. If Snit’s lack of resting players ends up costing us the chance to finally win a playoff series, it will be a massive failure from everyone.

Freeman's bone spurs grow faster while resting, and eventually poke out of his skin.

Acuna's overly healed left groin causes the right groin to be injured.

Soroka's rested arm causes his xwOBA to go negative and ruptures the space time continuum.

Markakis with fresh legs starts aging in reverse, and ends up as a 9 year old by the NLDS.

    Many potentially dire consequences.
