The Braves found out Thursday afternoon who their openers will be for next week's against their NL Central opponent (St. Louis Cardinals/Milwaukee Brewers) in Major League Baseball's first round of the postseason. Veteran Lairder nscapi was announced as the Game 1 Starter. nsacpi has quietly compiled a dominant Kris Medlenesque 6-1 record in the last two months. Braves fans will remember Medlen having a dominant 2012 second half which rightfully earned him the nod in the first ever National League Wild Card game. "We've been doing very well behind him. The record speaks for itself. He opened for us when we clinched the division against San Fran. Very YUGE. I'm expecting a big game from him. To have a guy that can give you a death blow early like that is special.", said The Chosen One.

It was announced that SJ24, who was banned from the team just this past offseason for violating the team's personal code of conduct rules for betting, would be the GDT Opener in Game 2 of the LDS. ChopCountry manager The Chosen One said Thursday afternoon that SJ24's meticulous and thorough approach to being an opener was a big reason why he was chosen. "I mean if you look at what Taylor was able to do in a few starts, it's really special. The information, the numbers, the work ethic. It's all there. The Chosen One also picked the reigning 2018 Comeback Poster of the Year, Hulavol, to open on the road in St. Louis. Vol is 8-6 in the final stretch of regular season. "You know I think having a guy like him being able to start a game 3 for you does wonders for the team. He's been doing it all year you know. And, I just think on the road you want a workhorse out there that's gonna give you 5 or 6 innings and give the team a chance to win. You know our staff really looked at all the scenarios and possibilities and we just really felt good about having him out there on the road", The Chosen One said.

The Chosen One also announced rounding out the rest of the rotation would be either Freshmaker/slippyjms depending on the circumstances. He hinted that Freshmaker could start a game 4 if the Braves are behind 1-2 in the series. Should the series go the distance to Game 5, Chosen One has picked nsacpi to come back on 3-days rest if necessary.

It was a strategic move. If we somehow lose yet another Game 1 by bad luck, SJ24 brings lots of information, analytics, etc. to the table. To beat the opponent, you have to know every single detail about them. Where they're from, what stadium they play in, their manager, GM, owner, etc. Top to bottom.

As much as Hula doesn't want to admit it, he's 4-4 this month which is very Tehearnesque. I think having him in Game 3 works all sorts of potential ways. If we're up 2-0, his GDT horror movie homage titles could give us the magic juju. If we're 1-1, I have no doubts he's the guy you want to break the 1-1 split. If we're down 0-2, the thread title easily gets you back in the series with fear and his veteran lairdership. He's been overworked this year.

I have hated saint ****ing Lewis since they made me cry myself to sleep in 1982. I want them dead.
I was there last week for clinch - it meant nothing. It somehow felt hollow. I want saint Lewis and Zombie Brooklyn Dodgers dead. I want yankees dead.

I am ready. Despite my elbow bone spurs and pulled groin ( poster of Raquel on wall in mom’s basement will be shrouded). Put me in game three- or wherever you need me coach.. Sleepy should piggy for third time through lineup. Resident asshole for closer.
My lucky unwashed Grateful Dead Braves shirt is ready too.
Let’s win one for all of those watching from above who cried with us when Sid slid and aren’t here anymore: Lets win one for our grandpas who are somewhere wearing their baby A caps.
