Snits mistakes have been of almost every variety.

True, it's just Shildt's have set up Duvall to save Snit's butt twice and he did both times. What are the odds?

At bat has Dakota Hudson starting for cards. Has this been announced?

It was assumed he was going G4 after Waino went G3, Braves havent announced a SP yet though. I'd assume some kind of opener.

I feel like we should all take a moment to realize that without Snits game 1 incompetence we’d already be resting back in Atlanta

Yeah, no back up to SS after using Hech. Hech and one of Flowers/Cervelli should be the last 2 bench players used everyday. But I guess the plan was for Hech to take over 3b after Hamilton pitch ran for JD.

I think his grandpa was fully diabetic which makes him a quarter diabetic. I think he only has Elizabeth Warren levels of atheist in him though.

That’s being generous to Schildt. (And honestly, I’m being generous to say Snit has only been awful. He’s had a miserable series). Leaving the starter in too long cost him twice this series (Duvall homerun; loading the bases for Freeman). IBB the winning run in the 9th is suboptimal.

Definitely not a matchup of geniuses that’s for sure.

Walking McCann to get to Dansby was clearly a mistake by Shildt. Both have nearly identical slash lines vs. RHP this season (SSS, but I don't feel like using carrer stats for players at opposite ends of their careers), and it put the winning run on base. What's more, McCann has been miserable for months, and his bat is now almost as slow as his feet.

Still, it's hard to appreciate how bad Snit's moves were to get us to a situation where we had the season riding on Hech and his .622 career OPS against RHP. Unfortunately, the move will not be questioned amidst all the glee, and the narrative will be how Snit "...pulled all the right strings". Let's see how long his players can keep bailing him out.

From his little defense I've seen, he ought to be there now. Great hitter, but it ain't pretty out there.

Has to be DK. If any Braves pitcher is likely to be good on short rest, it’s DK after throwing 74 pitches.

I expect to see him given a short leash and will not face Goldy a 2nd time of the leverage is anything higher than “very low”.

Snit has actually done a pretty good job managing the pitchers this series, so I’m comfortable letting him handle DK on short rest.

I believe this is a no brainer. Some chatter about Julio, but I can't see going from left off the NLDS roster to game 4 starter, at all.

    DK 3 innings
    Julion 3 innings
    Bullpen

Although I'd be open to letting DK go longer if he is pitching well. I would not use Fried today. Would be his fourth game in five days. He's just not conditioned for that. And his struggles yesterday indicated as much.
