Don't get me wrong, he'd fit perfectly right now and I'd love to add him - just not backing up the truck for him. Matt Chapman on the other hand...

No one is backing up the truck for Bryant... but a Riley/Wright or Anderson deal is perfectly fair. If the Cubs don't want a return like that, he will remain a Cub. And Chapman is a pipe dream. Everyone points to the A's and Donaldson as evidence they may do a deal, but the situations are not the same other than they both play 3rd. There's no way Chapman is traded right now... maybe next off season.
