I know someone whose spouse works at CDC. The story from my friend was that morale at CDC was really low thro November because Covid was kicking their tail, then they all got excited by the November election results and the vaccine announcement (totally not suspiciously) a couple of days later. They thought that would take the political aspect out of the equation. Now that it's all political again and they're still getting their teeth kicked in, morale is lower than ever before.

That's all third hand, but reasonable. It follows that upper level staff in FDA or NIH wouldn't be enjoying themselves any more than those at folks at CDC.

One small inconvenient detail about natural immunity. We have by now quite a bit of knowledge about other coronoviruses. And the immunity they generate tends to be short. 6-12 months. We already know of situations where the same person has gotten covid twice.

Perhaps related to the above there is an accumulating body of data that people who have previously contracted covid are more likely to get it than people who have been vaccinated.

This is in direct contrast the majority of research done on natural immunity for the ccp virus.

But it’s not surprising you’d share big pharma propaganda.

We already made one good policy decision and that was the 4 week quarantine.

Now its time to use the data we have and make better decisions than the stupid one to stay in for April.
