This is a futile question. Because we know you and thethe wanted Trump to never enact social distancing or shut down anything and keep things open.

Some of us wanted the President to be the facilitator and positive reinforcement for the court of public opinion. I would say he's failed at both of those.

You say communication and transparency from Cuomo are great and applaud him for it, but you also basically downplay how important communication and transparency are for the public.

We've already seen multiple times how Trump has contradicted the experts and actual people on the ground, which gives people mixed messages. It's Trump's job to stay on message and not sugarcoat everything. You can show optimism and hope without blatant disregard for reality and embellishment.

If Trump didn't spend 45 minutes purposely picking on reporters to berate them for his base to get a boner, people would feel a lot better about the situation. But it's obvious to any objective person that Trump has used the pressers for political gain more than a public service announcement.

That's where his leadership of something so basic has failed miserably. And you can argue that public communication and transparency is just as important as policy, if not a policy itself.

Yes, it's crazy to expect the government to let their citizens make their own decisions.

You managed a lengthy answer for the orange man.

But was too vague to give an opinion on the left's new hero.

    Sorry for the confusing question

Every country is different. But that doesn't mean we can't learn from and benefit from what is working for other countries.

The country did make its decision under the rules the country was founded on. I get that you despise those foundations but actually the election and what I'm saying should have happened are one in the same.

I never said it was confusing, it's just vague.

I don't follow everything Cuomo does in NY like nsacpi or thethe can since they live there.

I've been following what's going on in my own state more recently surprise surprise.

Hence why you asking me a vague question, I wanted to know what specifics you're referring to so I can tell you I don't know enough about it or not. I've watched a few Cuomo pressers, so that's what i base my current opinion on. Meanwhile Trump is in the news everyday. So I'm probably more likely to have an actual opinion on him, not because you think I'm obsessed with him.

I follow what my mayor does, what my governor does, and yes surprise surprise what Trump is doing. All 3 have a direct effect on what's going on around me, not Cuomo.

Again. Yall cant seem to address one point without pivoting back to Trump.

    Trump has been bad.

    Cuomo worse.

You literally posted Shapiro comparing them. The thing I quoted is literally you comparing them. How is that me pivoting?

Literally if Shapiro had said "Bill de Blasio is bad at his job" most people would just be like "yes that is correct," but he had to be like "STOP BEING MEAN TO TRUMP BECAUSE DE BLASIO." Because his business model is playing defense for Trump while pretending he isn't.

I see no coherent argument that Cuomo has been worse than Trump other from the loony libertarian stance that government doing anything is bad.

What exactly is the financial toll vs the loss of human life? The current plan isn't exactly preventing them from an economic downturn.

What exactly was your plan of keeping this out of nursing homes in your great Swiss model? Are doctors and nurses not allowed to ever leave in this scenario? If half the nation gets this virus, there would be no keeping it out of nursing homes.
