I'm in upstate NY currently. On Saturday, me and the lady wanted to visit a state park. We called and they were open. We drove 90 minutes to get there. Once we got there, there was a massive line of cars that resulted in 2 hours of sitting there, as they had closed the park bc of too many people.
I feel bad for people in NY... their government treats them like children and spits on their liberty.
And Cuomo can't get enough of it
A president that cares about his citizens freedom.
Refreshing
Nope
What WHO said was that lockdowns were bad for the economy. AKA, the people who line their pockets told them to do this.
The director-general also said
"Never in the history of public health has herd immunity been used as a strategy for responding to an outbreak, let alone a pandemic. It is scientifically and ethically problematic."
WHich isn't Open up New York.

Not a good look.
Fauci: …There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.
am i in fact reading correctly that this graph goes to April 10?
if so i would like to point out that by April 10 Sweden had experienced less than a fifth of its reported covid deaths? why stop on April 10? Also why include January and February? Nothing was going on with respect to covid during those months in Sweden.
I'd be interested in seeing a similar graph for the period April 1 to June 30. That's when the bulk of covid deaths in Sweden occurred.

"I am your retribution."
Canada reported most cases to date yesterday... be interesting seeing their final report today (usually about 8 pm).
Italy reporting most cases to date today.
Spain with a really bad report today: 11,970 cases, 209 deaths.
UK reporting most cases to date today. Deaths starting to come up there now... first back-to-back days over 100 deaths since June 16-17.
France hasn't reported today yet.
