Sorry, I read that wrong. I'm sure most of the Trump tards who currently refuse to wear a mask wouldn't wear one if Biden said so.

But most people currently wearing one, would still be wearing one if health experts and elected officials were both advocating for it, despite if the Prez was Red or Blue.

You know what Florida did? They FLATTENED THE CURVE

    NY did exactly the opposite
I excuse Mass as well who saw large spikes and high death rates and they're run by a Republican. Maryland as well. I also excuse LA's first outbreak despite it being a southern state that is generally red. It's funny these states are never brought up though. Strange.

I'm sorry you can't comprehend how an extremely contagious virus that was wreaking havoc on NY and surrounding states before it was known just how much it had already spread (because you know, we didn't have any tests despite being promised millions) and how little knowledge we had on how to treat it can lead to a lot of deaths. States seeing spikes now have had 4 months to prepare and now know better ways to treat (and prevent) the virus which means less deaths (shocking revelation there).

Again, the fact that I have to explain this is extremely sad

This is sorta like saying yesterday some random players in mlb hit HRs while trout went 0-4, so the randoms are better. Here's the way to compare the above...

    Deaths per million:
    France - 466
    Italy - 583
    Germany - 111
    UK - 609
    Spain - 612
    Japan - 8 (freaking 8!)
    Canada - 239
    US - 518

Japan is trout. Germany is degrom. Canada is Acuna. The rest of us are dansby swanson.

Looking at all these countries, only the US is trending down in cases... maybe Canada, sorta flat. Now even our trending down in cases is still much larger than the others.

I would say that the analogy is I'm presenting day by day data (sort of like game by game data).

And you are presenting what is the equivalent of career data.

Both have relevance in some contexts. And are less relevant in others.

The past month is also relevant.

The past two months is also relevant.

The data at various frequencies all have something to say.

The daily data I've been presenting are shocking. Six months into the pandemic, every country has had time to put policies in place to respond to it. They have had time to analyze the data and come to some sort of idea as to what works and what doesn't work. Our results are shockingly bad compared to our peer group.

With*in days of Virginia’s stay-at-home order, Local Food Hub launched dri*ve-thru mar*kets to com*ply with Covid-19 reg*u*la*tions. Cus*tomers could order food online from a vari*ety of local farms and pick it up twice a week.

I don’t think there’s much that can be done honestly.

People are going to get exposed to it.

You can’t lock people down for 6 + mo.

Officials are still in the “we don’t know what we don’t know” stage of the Covid outbreak and we won’t have a thoroughly researched vaccine for years.

It was in jest but is Fauci not the medical point man?
