wear a mask peeps...from a cost/benefit perspective it is one of the best measures for reducing the spread
although I wonder about one thing...barbers are typically not face to face with their clients...like manicurists are...its a detail to wonder about

I really didn't keep up with this story much. I'm assuming the barber was symptomatic and that's why she was tested, right? The reason I'm wondering is if she wasn't symptomatic, this could back the WHO claim (at beginning of week, not take 2).
I haven't seen whether the stylists were symptomatic, pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic. I think all three categories are contagious, regardless of the confusion at the WHO.

New York City reopening with a positive rate below 2%. That's how it should be done. Unfortunately state borders are not really a thing. Which makes it likely that we will eventually suffer from rising cases from other parts of the country.
In contrast, FINLAND, Norway and Denmark have opened up travel between their people, but are saying no to the Swedes. New York doesn't have that option with respect to Texans and Arizonans. So it is likely that all the effort will be for naught.
