Almost everything I've said about this virus for the last 2 weeks has effectively been true. The virus has been here for months and the hospiralization and death rate is much lower. It's not even a definite thing that the lockdown significantly helped. I hope they bring this investigation out and then every ****ing politicians comments during this time can be judged.

Imagine if I railed against a candidate for smoking weed and then complaining that someone brings up how hypocritical that would be of me. Doctor friend tells me that nurses and oxygen are a bigger need in NY right now than ventilators. Staffing shortage is critical. High no show rate. People are buckling under the pressure.
