And was routinely sprinting etc. Regardless of that point, 6'3 (and he's probably a scouting report 6'3) 240 (probably a round down) would mean you have a BMI of 30 which is obese. Of course I doubt DOnnie is 6'3 as when he's standing next to Trudeau he never looks taller than him. Of course camera angles makes it hard to compare.

So to compare a 6'3 240 pound man next to a 6'2 180 pound man.

Yes. You have to work hard and figure it out. That takes determination. That is what is lacking.

    Lol metabolic rate. Gtfo here.

Operate at a deficit by eating whole foods low in sugar less than what you burn in a day and you will lose weight.

It’s not rocket science and no one needs to know their metabolic rate.

You need to be able to basic math to calculate calories (a food scale helps) and no ones job is in jeopardy in dieting. That’s one of the craziest things I’ve read. There’s no socioeconomic base for who can eat healthy and exercise or not.

That is literally some of the dumbest reasonings I’ve read here which is saying something.

A juice diet is the worst idea I’ve ever heard, I’m not sure why you even mentioned it

There's a documentary on Netflix, at least there was. Of this guy who did a 30 day juice diet. And watching it, there's no way a normal person could do that, but because he was affluent, he could. Things like that matter.

To just say the difference between obesity and not is effort is short sighted. Sure it helps to try. But there's more to it than just one thing. You cite calorie defiict. But how do you know what your calorie deficit is?

Homeboy drinks Diet Coke and eats fast food. That's significantly worse than an occasional drink.

Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the rate of energy expenditure per unit time by endothermic animals at rest

So how does one know how many calories they burn without knowing their metabolic rate? Again it's doable via trial and error, but it could lead to gross deficiencies which can wreck your metabolism.

Also who knows what a calorie is?

It's the amount of energy needed to raise 1 ml of water 1 degree celsius. 1 calorie in food term is typically a kcal which is 1,000 calories. So why does it matter? You're not heating up food when you digest it.

    It isn’t rocket science.

You don’t need massive trial and error.

People do it all the time without all that. You are trying to make something simple very hard with a bunch of excuses.

Literally none of the people I’ve helped lose weight have used any of that.

Eat whole food from the outside of the grocery store (perishable food) coupled with exercise/weight training is the best start and it works

I know. Because OMB and you didn’t want to believe otherwise by realizing one of his biggest critics was a fraud.

thanks for bumping that up...the basic point is correct

the idea that he was suddenly this warm fuzzy empathetic human being always struck a note of cognitive dissonance in me...he certainly benefited from the contrast with the malign incompetent clown we had in the oval office

It’s not considering at the federal level our response to the ccp virus was strong.

Not sure what the argument against that is if you actually believed in our federalist system of government.
