Time has already shown that wearing a mask an effective way to slow the spread. There's also a psychological component to the mask. It signals to others that a serious pathogen is present, like a warning, and it has a sobering effect all types of other irresponsible, virus spreading behaviors.

Look I'm pro-life, but even I can see this is a terrible false equivalency. One person can spread COVID to dozens of people which could cause the result of several deaths or life altering health issues.
That's fine. So you agree that the government can regulate someone's body in the name of protecting others health, then.
