If no expanded playoffs means I can’t have the DH, that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
I want the DH but expanded playoffs are ****ing terrible. Makes the regular season just about freaking meaningless.

Reduce the regular season back down to 154 games, eliminate inter league play, expand the playoffs, put in the DH. Everybody should be happy.

contracts have nothing to do with the number of in season games played but the bigger mystery to me is why you cant read a one sentence post.

ESPN story on Simmons and how he was battling depression last year, which ultimately forced him to opt out at the end of the season. Sad to know that he got that low, but very happy to see that sought out help. I hope he continues to recover and be well mentally. He's probably my favorite Brave since Smoltz retired, even higher than Chipper. I just loved watching him play. I honestly hope we can have a reunion with him in a couple years if we move on from Dansby.
