I highly doubt it. Not gonna lie. I'll be upset if I cant watch the braves in dallas this season since it happens every 6 years.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if they suspend the season for a month or two, especially minor league baseball. It's likely only a matter of time before a player gets it. At the very least I think the season opens with no fans.
    thank you weso1!

They’re going to start the season without fans in the stadiums. Word is they’re going play all games during this period in Miami and Tampa so it isn’t abnormal to the players.

If MLB was smart they'd postpone until say second week of April. With the absurdly long MLB season those 2 weeks of games wouldn't be missed that much.

This thing isn't going to be even close to over by the second week of April

Mostlikely not, but it would be a good faith gesture.

One of the more difficult problems that MLB faces is that pitchers apparently need weeks to be ready because reasons. So if you suspend for a month then it may take 2 months after that for pitchers to be ready. This might be a good time for MLB to question why do pitchers need 50 million years to be ready for opening day.
    thank you weso1!

I've seen rumblings that they'd do May - October for the regular season and go from there.

Man think of all the ramifications with this. Let’s say we can only play 102 games this year. All that service time getting jacked up. Are free agents really free agents. How will arbitration going to be affected. All these guys on a one year prove contract that will be a year older and repressed stats to go into free agency next year. Man this is a ****strom.

Let's just postpone the season until Hamels is ready to go.

I guess this sorta solves the Cole Hamels rotation spot.
