COVID-19, A message from ChopCountry CEO

    Dear Valued Subscriber,

In a time of so much uncertainty, it is common to look for a sense of reassurance as well as sources of strength.

If this situation has created financial strain, your Chop Country staff is the best place to start regarding your monthly subscription fees. Many of our associates are now working at home to serve you while doing our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate the patience you’ve shown.

With that said, here are a few changes we're making during this time of crisis to help continue bringing you the best possible experience:

    • Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the 2019 Chop Country Forum User Awards Results have been postponed indefinitely.

    • All subscriber fees will be waived through the duration of the 2020 baseball season. Fees will be automatically billed once the '20-'21 offseason begins. We understand the financial strain this is causing, so your burden is our burden.

    • In times of crisis, it's important that the Chief is rewarded more to steer the herd and manage the storm in the best possible fashion. With that said, the CEO of Chop Country will be receiving not a salary % reduction, but a salary 20% promotion. The Fine Staff of Chop Country will each receive an 80% salary reduction to help pay for this cost, as traffic and bandwidth volume usage during this time will be fairly low due to no games being played, so they will have less work to do and still get paid. Employees will also be eligible for financial assistance thanks to the CARES Act recently signed into law by the great President Donald Trump.

These are just a few of the changes we're committing to, to help ensure a smooth and seamless path forward through this rocky storm, and we hope once the dust clears that we will get back to Making Atlanta Great Again.

    Sincerely,

    KeithLockhart
