Wouldnt touch groupon either unless for a big short term bounce
Groupon has consistently sat around that $3-$5 range for the last few years. When businesses start to open up, I believe you're likely to see a boom among local business services and travel, where Groupon has their niche. Good opportunity to double or triple your money at current prices.

I've been bass fishing. I've caught a lot and actually had a fish fry last night. Not gonna lie. This quarantine happened at the right time for bass with them spawning. lol

I still think their is some opportunity, but I essentially agree with your point.

We will find a new plateau soon and it’s going to be short of the 29,000 pre-shutdown, but I think the market has a few thousand to rally from.

I also suspect the market is pricing in a second wave in the Fall. If that risk is mitigated then I suspect you’ll see another big bump later on this year.

I'm able to telecommute so fortunately our income hasn't suffered. I also save the 3-4 hours per day I was commuting so I get to spend a lot more time with my kids and working around the house and have even been getting a reasonable amount of sleep for the first time in a decade.

Now getting the pool ready and cleaning up some projects in the backyard that are almost done. My 10 year old has become a fan of COPS so we watch an episode before she goes to bed every night. A group of friends from church get together on Hangouts and play trivia type games sometimes.

Getting rid of the commute really is life altering. I have been putting in extra time to be more productive, just hoping to be able to do this permanently. We would move (further) into the boondocks immediately if that was the case.

I hope you all are well.

This is awesome. I have had a similar experience (minus the kids).

I think this virus is going to completely transform social normatives around telecommuting.

Hopefully. My job can be done 100% remote. Saves time, money, environment, and avoids all the risks involved in being on the road.

And will be critical to lowering home/rent prices in urban areas.

Telecommuting is a catch-all cure to a lot problems, just like you alluded to.

mental wear and tear. I've read side effects of commuting likened to low level jet lag.

Took a music lesson this morning with an instructor, that, now that he has worked the kinks out of Zoom, intends on only online instruction.
I hear the same from college professors and high school teachers.

A number of friends that work in tech have been working at home for 4-5 years.
Agree with chop that it is a catch all cure.

I think a lot of good is going to come from this break we've had

Me too. Been playing some golf lately with the raised cups. It’s shaves a few strokes off and hurries the round up!

OAS Was .50 a week ago. I wanted to throw thousands at since it was so cheap. It’s $2 now. I should had thrown a lot more at it.
