HAHA I'm honestly torn on this. Dallas County just reported it's highest daily case count which presumably is from Memorial Day weekend. The next week+ will be very interesting. One way or another these protests will show if the covid hysteria was legit or just something else the media uses to try and scare people.

LOL. I think my posting history shows I pretty clearly don't care about e-cred. I use this site as entertainment and to occasionally talk ball.

Believe or not, I don't care if you think I have any "inside info" or not.

My buddy is currently doing a job for one of the more famous teams and I figured I'd share.

I think we're gonna survive this.

other than the 100,000 deaths in two months while we were quarantined you mean?

I'm not sure why people in good health were quite as paranoid about the whole thing, but I like to think it is because they love people who weren't in such good health. But I think a lot of it was personal fear which was a bit over the top.

Unfortunately, I think that the shutdown may have done more bad than good for our preparedness for the next one. Because the zombie apocalypse didn't occur this time, I'm afraid it will be a little more inevitable the next time.

Be careful of "new case" stats. All states and locales have consistently rising testing availability, which will, of course, increase the raw numbers of positive cases. The critical stats are percentages of positive tests and, even more so, hospitalizations.

    That's a good response.

Either the virus is super dangerous, and thus these protests are gonna kill thousands.

Or the virus isn't super dangerous, and thus we've destroyed society for no reason.

Cant have it both ways fella

corona is real and a threat. however the initial point of the quarantine was to flatten the curve so hospitals weren't overrun. I'm pretty sure we have accomplished this. So at this point staying locked down is doing a lot more harm than good. Something like 30 million unemployed. African-Americans had the lowest unemployment in history until this now I read a stat the over half of male african-americans are unemployed. With everything else going on in the country it's just a downward spiral man.

And I ****ing want baseball back.

Listen, Taylor knows athletes, so I’m sure he knows one that is in MLB.
