All I know is once the players kneeled on veteran's day, the NFl went all-in on the military. At saints' games you rarely saw military and first responders recognized, and then boom after Covid, they were honoring them at almost every TV timeout. Maybe it was happenstance, but it sure seemed the nfl made a change
I mean for over a decade the DoD has been paying the NFL and giving Flybys, etc. for the NFL.
