Actually, I think Snit wanted to make Touki respond to a high pressure situation in a game in which he'd otherwise cruised. Touki got the two outs and Snit figured that was plenty.

Yeah, that was the first lineup mistake. This was the first BP mistake.

Then Snit got into a position where he couldn't bring Matzek in to face a LHH, and couldn't leave Touki in any longer to face the RHH. This whole situation should have been avoided with Matzek facing Biggio.

This has been a bad and on-going pattern with Snitker. Some people complain about the quick hook, but I see it exactly opposite. Touki gave him 6. That should have been it.
