Actually just looked up the statcast data.
Both Mccutchen and Harper had outs that had an ev over a 100
Yeah, we must be watching a different game, because I don’t see how you can watch Wright tonight and not see good stuff. Sure, his fastball doesn’t have enough movement, even though it has good velocity, but his off-speed pitches are filthy. Aside from a few ABs he’s gotten a lot of soft contact tonight.

I'd say this season has this far been very encouraging for Wrights future. Not everyone is Soroka.

While four runs in six innings isn't stellar (one of the runs was the result of a horribly missed third strike call), I think it's fair to say that Wright is making the progress we all want to see from him.

I was really impressed with how he finished out after the Bruce HR.

I agree that he showed good mental toughness after giving up a couple of home runs in addition to being badly squeezed by the home plate ump in that sequence.

This is how Wright learns. Philly is not an easy place to pitch. He did ok with a crappy ump and zero run support.

This one's looking pretty bleak. Hopefully, we can work out Emma and the elephant a couple of times tomorrow.

Dansby's bat has come down to earth and he's striking out way too much.

    Welcome back to earth Dansby!!

    Last 7 games--- 27 ABs, 11 Ks, 4 hits, OBP=.208, Avg= .148 lowering Avg to .276 overall
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......

And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

I’m not saying Wright looked bad lol
I’m simply saying his stuff has looked better in the past but regardless I’m glad he worked his way thru it and made a solid start.
I hope everyone of these kids play great cause I love the Braves but I was mainly saying I’m not as high on he as I am Touki and Anderson.
On another note Jake the snake owes that ump after that gift of a game.
A pitchers dream having the outer black consistently called a strike.
Hopefully Fried delivers tomorrow and our guys get back on track.

Well...Wright's stuff isn't that great. It's just good. Many good pitches, but nothing truly nasty.

He has the tools to be a middle of the rotation guy, and just needs to "learn how to pitch"...as much as I hate that cliche.
