Bases loaded HBP to give Philly another run and extend their lead to 5-2 in the 8th. A bunch of revolting developments in the past couple of minutes.

Should've stuck with his FB. That slider still ain't it this season.

Or **** it: just walk Turner, with no Soto in the lineup.
Yep, no reason to give Turner anything to hit with Soto out. Even though that puts him on base.

With two outs who cares. Put him on and focus on the next scrub in their lineup.

Meh, division literally doesnt matter this year with the playoffs going to be played in a bubble. With it being 1-8. Past years, scoreboard watching would be notable at least.

I'm not sure who told Chip about the faux-Latin Ronaldus Magnus epithet, but they should know better than to feed him **** like that.

I'd just like to keep our streak alive of finishing ahead of the Phillies for the past several years. I work and play golf with some Phillies fans and I like having bragging rights over them.

The 90 mph to Acuña was "right by" him, but had some weird movement. The 90 mph to Dansby was ball-three—not "right by" him—and he shouldn't have swung at it.

Lmao. The Nats have gotten absurdly lucky all night. They should be down by 3-5, at least.

Going to be Ozuna–d'Arnaud–Markakis, with Riley–Duvall–Camargo the next three if any of those guys can reach.

In other words, I'd be pretty surprised if they brought in Doolittle.

Once Chip gets a new toy, he won't stop playing with it until he breaks it.

I'm tired of hearing it already. It fits right in with "he almost got it", or "that was close".
