I'm less worried about Bauer after reading about his spike in spin rate. Bauer’s spin rate has increased the last two years, and went through the roof last year. He tweeted about how he could increase his spin rate with pine tar in 2018...
2018: 2,373 rpm average spin rate on his fastball
2019: 2,412 rpm average spin rate on his fastball
2020: 2,776 rpm average spin rate on his fastball

Call it dramatic but hype Braves need a big move or two to truly compete with the Dodgers now, even given their losses in depth (Joc, Kike).

Was fun to follow. He played the signing announcement well. That rotation has a lot of options...
Lets just get Turner and Ozuna in the fold. That's about the best way to build this team into a contender vs what they will be facing.

How could they re-sign JT?
Trevor Bauer's three-year deal with the Dodgers is for $102 million guaranteed -- and for $40 million in 2021 and $45 million in 2022. He can opt out after each year, meaning he'll make $40M if he opts out this year, $85M if he does so after 2022 and $102M if he stays all three.
So where will the Mets throw their money now? Ozuna or turner?
Last thing we need is them going after Ozuna... but writings on the wall
$40m for this season and $45m for next season, opt outs after both seasons....holy cow.
way over paid

Very interesting contract for Bauer. Looks like he set himself to go tear to year, and got a nice guarantee to fall back on. Well done on his part.
The Turner and Ozuna dominos should fall soon now.
I’m betting the Braves get one of them on a 1-2 year deal, and everyone crying the last few days will have to find something else to ignorantly complain about.
