    DeGrom-Thor-Stroman-Carrasco-TBD is a great rotation.

Add Lindor to the lineup and possibly Springer...?

Mets got their new owner at the perfect time. They are literally one of only a few teams in the market who have money to spend. Imagine if the Wilpons were still here. They'd be cutting salary. The ability to be able to take on the salary of Lindor and Carrasco probably means they won't have to give up a ton.

Guess Mets playing long game. Taking on salary in NY doesn't seem a good financial decision for this season anyway. No way fans are allowed this year there

Well, lindor doesn't help them vs us anyway... Rosario seems to always kill us haha

Yeah, Rosario turns into Mike Trout vs us. But they did pretty well in that deal though.

Alright in the WAR world, did the Mets pass braves today?

I think they were passed Atlanta before this deal (or it was close) because the Braves are still missing another relief arm to replace Melancon and a bat to replace Ozuna.

Nah Braves were better before this deal, Mets probably passed us after this though. We def need a bullpen arm and a bat or two.

    Thanks you two.

If AA closes out the off-season well (and I have no reason to believe he won't), I'll still say braves win division. I expect Acuna and albies to become mlb elite players this year

Do we ACTUALLY think AA is going to do anything more than find a good value thumper on a one-or-two-year deal and grab a solid relief arm? That is all good but I think people expect more than what's going to happen.

I mean, who even has money to spend? It's January and there's been hardly little traction.

Cutting a good one or two year thumper and bringing in a solid relief arm is basically all I would even want them to do?

I guess two good value on 1-2 thumper deals would be better?

    We badly need another bat.
