Spotrac has him at 16 x 4, with a 16 mil club option in year 5. But if he's only at 12 this year, you could swoop in and steal Turner if you give him a high AAV on a 2-yr deal. I think Dodgers bring back Turner though.

Even if it is, Braves BADLY need his bat. I'll live with the gulp, bad defense for his plus bat in the lineup.

What a deal wow. Seems like we got Ozuna for a song. Feel much better now, but would love one more bat!

DOB and others reporting 12 this year, 16 next year and then 18 in each of the final two guaranteed years. Option year is for 16 or a $1 million buyout.

I'd love to get 2 relievers. Want to have the strong pen again this year with the much improved starting pitching

I just saw it's 12 this year, i wonder how much room AA has left. I'm guessing AA brings back one or both of Greene/MM if they're cheap enough, and gets Duvall back. But if he steals Turner from the Dodgers, **** has gotten real.

I mean, Dodgers are WAY over the tax now. They print money but even rich teams dont like going THAT over the tax. If Turner is even remotely realistic, AA needs to go steal him, would make this lineup stupid deep. Still think Dodgers find a way to bring JT back though. He seems to like LA.

I’d much rather Rosenthal than Melancon or Greene. Would probably be more expensive though.

I wonder how AA views the bench. Ender seems like a decent defensive replacement for Ozuna, and I guess camargo is the versatile infield piece. I wouldn’t mind Brad Miller as a cheap guy who could spell Riley some against Scherzer, deGrom, etc.

Realistically i think they probably add a couple BP arms, and get Duvall back. But if you can get in on Turner.... You do it.

The $12 million this year could mean one of two things. We are broke and had to go cheap this year. Or we have more money, but wanted to go cheaper this year to spend more on other parts.

If we are broke, Ozuna isnt back. Braves were a fallback on Springer/Realmuto, so it would cost 20+ mil to get either. AA has some money left to spend, how much? That's anyones guess. Need some bullpen depth at the very least now. Bringing Duvall back would be smart now too. And maybe a cheap bench piece. Or blow the rest of the money on Justin Turner lol.

If we “did” get Turner....what a line-up. Riley, Ender, Camargo, etc. on the bench I guess.

Biggest needs this offseason was a big bat and SP depth, AA filled that. Hope Melancon/Greene return, but the heavy lifting is now done. Stealing Turner from LA would be hilarious but i'm not banking on it lol.
