Ozuna cooling off is gonna show how bad the 24 Braves really are. The 9 games over is the product of a great start not much else.

Was certainly a trash play. But hey, the braves won the same amount of playoff games in that 1 series as they've won with Olson the last 2 seasons. And these last 2 brave teams were much better. To be fair, Olson shouldn't shoulder all the blame for the last 2 seasons... we got rid of our actual leadership on the team, and no one has replaced it. Look no farther than Arcia playing around while we were being eliminated again

He was complete and utter trash that entire series. He was the main reason it even went to game 5. He literally could have afforded to have a regular bad series, and it wouldn't even have gone to game 5. But he was atrocious.

He was, and I ripped him unmercifully for being selfish playing with a bad elbow. There is zero doubt though that the braves downgraded with Olson. We're halfway through the years that FF wanted, and he's absolutely obliterating Olson's numbers. AA has been good, but not giving FF the years he wanted in favor of giving them to a much inferior player is indefensible esp considering we lost prospects in the deal too.

all he had was an oblique strain... can be a lengthy time out sometimes but certainly not the entire year.
I said extending Olson was not a great idea the moment it happened.
All we can do now is hope he isn't going to decline like typical LHH power goons tend to decline.

I know he hasn't had a good year, but come on, everyone. Matt Olson is only 30 years old, 4.5 years younger than FF. Which was the main reason for the trade. I don't know what the typical aging curve is for players of his type, but he has a lean body and plays a position that doesn't put a lot of wear and tear on his joints, so I don't see why he should age poorly. He just seems like a player who goes through extended hot and cold periods.
