Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

The reality is the abortion absolutists are a small loud minority.

They can bitch all day and withhold their votes and then tuck their tails in between their legs when Trump remains the most pro life president in our history.

Losers

He doesn't support it at 6 weeks. That doesn't imply be would be opposed to other versions of a similar bill.

There are no other versions of a similar bill. this is a constitutional amendment. It will either pass or fail.

The choice is binary. He said he plans to vote for "more than 6 weeks"

Trump has managed to turn his cult to be more antagonistic to pro lifers than leftists.

I could not imagine a better ally to leftist abortionists than this ^

This is the big risk with Trump.

Only he can turn the republican base into pro socialist, pro abortion, leftist listless vessels

We have seen him do it to great effect on this board. There is nothing - not a single thing - thethe will not defend

Anyone not afflicted with TDS knew this was Trumps position as it hasn't changed since he ran in 2015.

Now the question is how many times will the abortion absolutists require Trump to show them fealty until election day.

Hahahahahaha **** yeah he felt the pressure of betraying his base and buckled like he should have

Holding politicians is accountable is good, actually

I've told you 1,000 times that being against the Florida bill is entirely consistent with his abortion position. He was asked twice about the amendment. First time he didn't comment. You defended him as staying out of it.

2nd time he committed to "voting for more than 6 weeks". You defended him bc he is trying to win

Today he is doing the very easy and right thing to do. You are defending that as well.

So that's 3 positions on the same topic and you've defended all 3 of them

Impressive hold on you

OK. He is voting no. This been an interesting waffle. I think the down ballot damage to Scott and other Republican candidates would have been enormous otherwise. In some ways it is pragmatic.

This is effectively no different than what he said 24 hours ago and what he has said since he ran in 2015. Anyone surprised by this is telling on themselves.

The next step and right thing for him to do would be to actively campaign with RDS to defeat this monstrosity.

I'll "settle" for him not actively undermining it, but there's a chance for him to step up and lead here

I'll ask a 4th time for you to translate what he said yesterday and how it is "effectively no different" than today

Need the MAGA translator and pretzel twisting, please

If he said "yes" then you'd say he betrayed us all.

He said "no" so he was feeling pressure from the base.

You can't make this **** up.

I see the man with the most flexible morals possible is back to his former cowardice of insulting me through others rather than engage the point directly.

At least the cowardice is consistent from the top of the cult to the bottom

100%

The cult is useless in stopping his sprint to the left. At least there is still a wing of the party who has some standards
