Actually it will probably be in December instead of January. Elections will be over and he'll want him home for the holidays afterall.

I see you don't understand when you are being mocked. Explain to me why Joe shouldn't pardon Hunter. If Republicans want to use power to avoid justice why is it not okay for Biden to do it for his son? I want both to get their day on court. I don't want Joe to pardon Hunter but I do want him to tell Congress to pass a law limiting the pardon power for ones self, family, and staff or he will pardon Hunter before he leaves office. That way when hypocrite Republicans throw a hissy fit about it Democrats can point out Republicans had the chance to prevent it and all they had to do was agree that no President can pardon themself, their family, or their staff. They didn't agree because they are perfectly fine with that kind of abuse of power, they are just against it when anyone else does it.

A conviction isn't required for a pardon so that isn't it. I would guess Joe uses clemency rather than pardon if there's any prison time. I don't believe he will even get prison time which is a load of crap. Joe perfectly fine with sending everyone else's kids to jail but his son is a crackhead and never spends 1 millisecond behind bars.

It's pretty obvious that Joe can't pardon him before the election without it damaging the Dem party. And they don't want family secrets leaked during the trial.

Anyone with a brain can see what's going on. Let's revisit this post in January.

Uh, are you living in a cave? Trump pardoned Bannon, Flynn, Manafort, and Stone. He has already said he will pardon himself and/or fired anyone he can that is prosecuting him. Yeah, yeah, I know, every Dem is a crook even if there's no evidence and Republicans who are convicted are victims even if they confessed to the crime multiple times or there were Trump supporters on the jury.
