The current power structure in the UK is not an ally of the US and we should not consider them to be.
 
They are catering to Islam becuse they let them in the door and they **** like rabbits. It’s an evil religion that should be excluded from the western world.
 
Patiently waiting to see whether the “Biden forced Netanyahu into a bad deal to screw Trump and Isreael” or the “Trump got Hamas to agree to a ceasefire by being a total badass” narrative wins out in MAGALand today.

Actually if it’s a bad deal for Israel, you’d almost have to assume it was Trump though, right? Biden leaves office on Tuesday, so it’s not like he was in a position to strong-arm Israel given Trump’s public statements, right? This isn’t to say I’ll disapprove of a deal based on whether it was Biden or Trump who brokered it, but the logic of Israel caving for Biden right now seems insane. So I’ll be curious to see what the deal looks like and what the response is (from both sides, frankly) if it doesn’t support people’s previous narratives.

Also, one thing we can be sure of: some very loud people on both sides of this conflict are probably anxiously hovering over the “delete post” button on a lot of commentary regarding what was a “good” deal based on their previous standards.

I’m more than happy to accept Trump and his team earned the win here, but *Netanyahu* suddenly finding a willingness to come to the table for a ceasefire is certainly not the pro-Israel, wipe Hamas off the face of the Earth fire and brimstone solution that Trump campaigned on. At first glance, it sounds like the very thing Biden and Harris were pushing, a negotiated cease fire rather than the unconditional surrender of Hamas. Which, to be clear, I’m perfectly happy with, even if it was Trump that made it happen.
 
On the flip side, I’m seeing a lot of liberals puffing out their chests that Ol’ Biden got it over the finish line. If you’re a Trump supporter arguing Biden made a disastrous deal that weakened Israel OR a Biden supporter cheering that he got Israel’s agreement on a deal, it might be time to log off and touch some grass or something.
